Location
Barrancas is in the region of Mendoza and district of Maipú, within the plateau of the Río Mendoza. We are about 800 meters above sea level and benefit from a climate of hot sunny days and cool nights.
Our stony alluvial soils benefit also from the rich nutrients of the Río Mendoza basin. This combination makes a perfect environment and translates to quality fruit, healthy vines, olive groves and fruit trees.
We are also blessed with the pure water coming from snows of the Andes Mountain range for irrigation. We are honored to have outstanding neighbors such as Bodegas and Vineyard Flichman, Agostino, Federico De Alvear and Bodego Domiciano.
Stones Gates Estate and Vineyard
Stones Gates Vineyard is an established Vineyard and Olive Grove located in Barrancas, Maipu, Mendoza, Argentina.
Our Malbec vines and rootstock originate from the Toso family vineyard, which have a reputation for producing high quality grapes and wines.
Our beautiful and picturesque property spans approximately 8-hectares (20 Acres) suitable for both agriculture and hospitality.
Our olive varietal is Arauco and known for producing oils that are fresh and aromatic, with a hint of spice on the backend of the tasting. We time our harvest and pressing of our olives to obtain the intense peppery, vibrant, and herbaceous flavor profile.

It is a beautiful setting off the beaten path in Barrancas, Maipú, Mendoza. Located 30 to 40 minutes from central Mendoza City it is a wonderful rustic oasis.
