Bodega Finca Agostino - a 5 minute drive or 15 minute bicycle ride located here in Barrancas.  If you are going to have one world famous extravagant meal while in Mendoza, this is your spot.  A little pricier than our other recommendations, but what you get is an unforgettable 5 course meal with 5 of their amazing wines.  Unlimited and bottomless champagne and wines, a lunch here will usually take around 3 hours!  Reservations required.  Lunch only

For a hearty and tipico campo asado and cuisine in a totally informal environment, nothing beats lunch at Oso's.  Ten minute drive from us in Tres Esquinas.  Reservations recommended. Lunch only

Absolutely the best in Authentic Argentine cuisine.  Try the rabbit or clay pot beef simmered in Malbec.  Excellent wine cellar, reasonably priced and loads of fun.  About a 30 minuted drive from us.  Reservations recommended.  Open for lunch only.

Consistently considered one of the best restaurants not just In Mendoza but in all of Argentina, this charming small bodega and restaurant located in Chachingo has exquisite food and a fascinating history.  Reservations are a must and usually a 2 week wait list.  However, Kenito can get you in with a day or two notice!  Lunch only.
